 WE ARE THE KENYA WE WANT  Its evident you can't teach an old dog new tricks,and this applies in all aspects of life. To many,Kenya is often portrayed as lawless,corrupt and violent country where crime is common in the capital city,Nairobi. But dig beneath the earth surface and you'll find that Kenya is a beautiful and a very peaceful country just governed by the wrong individuals. Why am I saying all this....... We are amongst the few countries where the government does totally nothing when it comes to investing on the youths who are our future leaders. One will toil for three to four years in campus with the hope of being great in the future,only to come out to the hush world being slapped with reality .We live in a country where education is not the key to success but connections are,we've reached a point where we cannot strive for excellence you buy your way to it.  GLOBAL WARMING Global warming is a gradual increase in the earth's temperature generally due to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, CFCs, and other pollutants. Global warming effects have highly been contributed to by mankind through: 1.Deforestation-this is the action of clearing a wide range of trees. When forests are cut down much of the stored carbon is again released into the atmosphere as carbon dioxide and thats how forest degradation contributes to global warming. 2.Using transport-most Lorrie's,ships,cars and planes run under fossils fuels and this makes them a major contributor of greenhouses gases that spoil the ozone layer. 3.Powering buildings-Globally, residential and commercial buildings consume over half of all electricity.  We all come from different backgrounds and different environments which we are all a result of,every kids dream is always to make it to campus.....that was my dream to. Being in Campus is literally a lifestyle of its own,being away from home,having to take care of yourself,facing the outside world partially as a grown up and taking responsibility of your own actions.All this and yes a reward....a reward of freedom. With freedom we've never experienced all our lives,there are some decisions we tend to make and when the repercussions come haunting us we call each other toxic. Fresh from highschool,you come to campus and realize you can actually have a boyfriend and a public relationship with no judgements.....exciting right.....thats what excites a young blood.... did I mention multiple choices of partners,parties and drugs. We fall prey to all this just because we want to look cool or prove a point.Peer pressure working on consuming your reasoning,you definitely wanna have the best...
